DiLorenzo, Economics professor at Loyola University Maryland Sellinger School of Business, discusses the misguided thinking that prevailed in the post-WWII era—that the destruction of the war was actually an economic blessing.  This view of destruction as a blessing (included in Chapters 2 and 3 of Hazlitt’s work) is covered in the following discussion.
