Part 1: What Is the Role of the Courts?

In this first session, Mr. Levin outlines the role of the courts and their constitutional powers.  The Founders intended for the judicial branch to be the weakest, as they were directed not to legislate law but to only interpret it.  Mr. Levin cites numerous primary sources to support his argument that our modern Supreme Court is not what the Founder’s intended.
