Why the Constitution
is Important?

Part 2: The Progressive Assault on the Constitution

In this second session, Mr. Levin details the progressive view of the Constitution.  Progressives view the Constituation as a “living and breathing” document where empathy and personal opinions dictate their decisions, as opposed to the original interpretation and intent of the actual law.  Progressives believe in judicial activism while Constitutionalists believe in judicial restraint.  Mr. Levin uses recent examples of Supreme Court decisions and public statements from the progressive Supreme Court justices to illustrate his case.
