Free Think U is proud to announce that a new group of paid student editors has been formed to assist with marketing and course development.
Named after the Marine Corps’ special forces task force, the student group will be called “MARSOC.” In the Marine Corps, members of MARSOC are highly trained individuals who are given very specific, highly important missions to complete. Likewise, Free Think U’s student editors will be given specific tasks that further the mission and purpose of Free Think U.
Free Think U believes in the importance of students’ voices and therefore seeks to create each course experience with the student in mind.
Among other tasks, the student editors will be charged with reviewing and providing feedback for each course, in addition to promoting Free Think U through social media on Facebook and Twitter.
The “MARSOC Team” is a diverse group of students from different educational and vocational backgrounds, each of whom have the common interest of helping other students think critically.
Student Editors will also be compensated for their efforts at an hourly rate.
Please continue to check our blog at www.freethinku.com for more upcoming information on the student editors.
