What Is the Future of the
Conservative Movement?

Part 3: Empowering Conservatism For A New Generation

Based on his arguments for how American conservatism can promote growth and opportunity for everyone, Sen. Cruz finishes his presentation about the future of conservatism by advocating contrast between liberalism and conservatism – articulating a conservative vision for the future.  Good policy elicits good politics.

It is one thing to believe certain principles, but those principles accomplish nothing in the abstract.  Principles must be espoused by people who can communicate them and hold them with conviction.  If conservatives are unable to communicate well or hold to principles when challenged, the future is bleak.  Sen. Cruz concludes by encouraging and empowering activists and younger people to study your principles, explore conservatism, then articulate with conviction.  What will you do for freedom?
