Rules for the
Good Radicals

Challenge

Far too often conservatives seem willing to duck and cover in the modern world that clamors for change.  We could be quick to engage our world in a discussion concerning justice, mercy, goodness, truth, and beauty because we know the solid basis for such in Western culture, handed down to us for millennia, but often we hesitate to engage.  Let’s stop hesitating.

Having seen how dedicated and energetic others maybe in pursuing their views and seeking to “convert the world” and consolidate all power to their side, what are you willing to step out with your conservatism and lead folks back toward it?  It would seem the following challenge would be the least each of us can do:

  1. Find an area of your campus or life in college and seek to be an agent of change.
  2. Actively pursue just a small group of like-minded people who share your passion for the issue you have isolated.
  3. Discuss these rules with them, maybe have them take this course.
  4. Then form a plan for seeking to press others to join you in your cause and seek the changes you believe will move the culture around you toward its inherited culture that has made it great in the past.
