Is Atheism
Tenable?

The Case Against Atheism

Atheists often argue that there is no god simply because his existence cannot be positively proven. Does this assertion bear up under scrutiny, or are they making a purely negative argument, as stated in the opening introductory essay?  Through the use of logic and positive reason, can an atheist prove that God does not exist anymore than a theist can prove that He does?  This is a difficult and tricky set of premises to work with, but there are solid responses to Dawkins’ assertions that God is all just a delusion.

William Lane Craig has publicly debated Richard Dawkins on this issue.  He has also written and spoken in response to The God Delusion.  The following videos contain part of his response to the idea that evolution is viable.

The next video is a specific response to the section of The God Delusion that was quoted in the previous section.
