Atheists often argue that there is no god simply because his existence cannot be positively proven. Does this assertion bear up under scrutiny, or are they making a purely negative argument, as stated in the opening introductory essay? Through the use of logic and positive reason, can an atheist prove that God does not exist anymore than a theist can prove that He does? This is a difficult and tricky set of premises to work with, but there are solid responses to Dawkins’ assertions that God is all just a delusion.
