Do We Consume
Too Much?

How the Church Shapes Consumerism

And our last recording brings a different voice into the mix.  Ken Myers interviews Vincent Miller about how our faith experience in modern America adds to this impulse to see all of life through consumption and commodity.  Vincent Miller holds the Gudorf chair in Catholic Theology and culture at the University of Dayton. Previously an assistant professor of theology at Georgetown University, his work has been published in Horizons, U. S. Catholic Historian, and Bibliotheca Ephemeridum Theologicarum Lovaniensium. He completed his graduate work at the University of Notre Dame and his undergraduate work at St. Francis College. This last segment is entitled, “The Commodifying Faith.”
