When navigating through treacherous mountains, people look for paths that have been crossed before. Even those who sadly lost their way provided valuable information, because they helped pinpoint dangerous cliffs and dead ends.
So mentor, and be mentored!
That said, your assignment is to find a person who is more than 50 years older than you and ask the following three questions:
What has been your most important accomplishment in life?
For what are you most grateful?
What mistake should I most try to avoid?
Start with these questions as conversation-starters, but spend at least eight hours with this person. Let him or her know you are interested in being mentored. When you have completed this project, take the assessment at the end of this course. It will ask you some questions about the course content as well as your interactions with your mentor.
