How Can You Best Give,
Save and Spend?

Conclusion

As we conclude our study of financial stewardship, reflect once more on Matthew 6:21: “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Commit this verse to memory and ask the Lord to help you apply the truths you have learned in your daily life.

Spend some time with your mentor and go over ways you can apply the Bible’s wisdom to your giving, saving, and spending habits. Ask your mentor to pray with you and keep you accountable as you begin to make small changes. Review highlights from the four courses on stewardship with your mentor, and consider the areas in which you might need to see the most improvement.

219 prayer

Finally, commit to do your very best to honor the Lord with your time, talents, and treasure. It all belongs to Him and is to be used for His purposes and His glory.

“Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and you are exalted as head above all.” (1 Chronicles 29:11)
